Congress vs BJP controversy on George Soros: When BJP created a ruckus by accusing Congress leaders of having links with anti-India George Soros, Congress retaliated by accusing External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s connection with Soros has been revealed. Congress has alleged that Jaishankar’s son Dhruv Jaishankar was working at the Aspen Institute, which had received millions of dollars in funding from George Soros’ trust and had taken a salary of millions of dollars from him. Congress has questioned what connection S Jaishankar’s son has with Aspen Institute and German Marshall Fund? What connection do these two organizations have with George Soros?

Congress leader Pawan Kheda has challenged BJP leaders to clarify which BJP leaders’ children have studied abroad from which institute on scholarship and are working in organizations that have received donations from George Soros. Pawan Kheda also emphasized that, you have started it, we will end this thing.

Congress made it clear that the opposition will continue to raise the issue of allegations against Gautam Adani.

BJP’s silence in this matter is due to its intention to hide details like criminals.

The issue is now likely to resonate in Parliament after Pawan Kheda raised questions over the links between Union Minister S Jaishankar’s son Dhruv Shankar and Washington’s Aspen Institute.

BJP leader Tarun Chugh has accused Congress and especially Sonia and Rahul Gandhi of destabilizing the unity of India in collaboration with George Soros Foundation. Responding to BJP’s allegations, Kheda quipped that BJP thinks that Congress leaders will get into trouble by taking the name of Soros, but we have nothing to hide. Adani is silent on this issue because BJP wants to hide it and raises the issue of Soros.

Executive director at Jaishankar’s son Ambani’s charity

Jaishankar’s son Dhruv Jaishankar is the executive director at the Observer Research Foundation (RBIF) in the US. Dhruv has been working at Observer Research Foundation since 2018. ORF was established in the early 1990s under the leadership of Dhirubhai Ambani, and Reliance Industries Limited has been its largest donor over the years. The think tank claims to be independent and autonomous but is closely linked to Reliance, both financially and operationally.

Dhruv Jaishankar has previously worked at the Aspen Institute. The Aspen Institute has received a large donation from George Soros’s Open Society Institute. Jaishankar was India’s Ambassador to the US from 2013 to 2015. At the time, he was also said to have used his connections to benefit his son.
