Dharamshala, May 10 (Hindustan Reporter) Congress candidate from Kangra Chamba Lok Sabha constituency Anand Sharma on Friday met Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama and took his blessings. Before his election campaign on Friday, Anand Sharma also campaigned in Mcleodganj and adjoining areas. During this, he met religious leader Dalai Lama at his residence and discussed various issues with him.
Later speaking to the media, Anand Sharma said that meeting religious leader Dalai Lama is always an unforgettable moment. He said that even before this he had met the religious leader many times and had always received his blessings.
In response to a question, Anand Sharma said that if he becomes an MP in the future, he will definitely raise his voice in Delhi regarding the issue of Tibetans.
