Congress announces ‘Save Constitution Padyatra’

The main opposition party Congress has announced to organize a year-long ‘Save Constitution National Padyatra’ starting from January 26 next year. This information was given by party general secretary Jairam Ramesh while talking to the media after the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Belagavi, Karnataka. He said that this Padyatra will reach every village across the country, through which the party will make the public aware on various issues ranging from Adani issue to Ambedkar and Election Commission. Along with this, efforts will be made to highlight the policies and working style of the Central Government.

After the CWC meeting, Jairam Ramesh said, “We believe that the Bharat Jodo Yatra gave new energy to the Congress and it proved to be an important turning point in the party’s politics. After this, Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra was organized. Now, from January 26, 2025, we will start a year-long ‘Save Constitution National Padyatra’.”
