Congress and JMM meet CEO, complain against Nishikant Dubey

Ranchi, May 20 (HS). A joint delegation of Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) met Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) K. Ravi Kumar on Monday and submitted a memorandum. During this, the delegation lodged a complaint against BJP candidate from Godda Nishikant Dubey and demanded immediate action.

The delegation said that Congress candidate Pradeep Yadav complained to the District Election Officer Godda regarding hiding information in the nomination declaration form of Nishikant Dubey but no action was taken. The delegation said that Nishikant Dubey has not mentioned in the manifesto the Podaiyahat police station case number 162/2009 and Jasidih police station case number 213/2019 which are pending in the court.

Apart from this, Nishikant Dubey has mentioned in the manifesto that he has borrowed Rs 1 crore 20 lakh from Abhishek Jha in the name of his wife, while Abhishek Jha, who has filed nomination as an independent candidate from Godda Lok Sabha constituency, has mentioned this in his own manifesto. Not mentioned.

On the occasion, State Congress General Secretary Rakesh Sinha has asked whether it was black money or white money? If there was black money, then why did ED not reach there? We demand the Election Commission to cancel the nomination of both the candidates. JMM District President Mushtaq Alam said that on the day of elections, BJP distributed voter slip slips with the slogan '400 Paar' written on them to the voters. This slip was also distributed on the day of the fourth phase and is being distributed even today. The Commission was approached with a complaint regarding this and a demand was made to conduct an investigation and register an FIR.

The delegation mainly included Congress's Amulya Neeraj Khalko, Rakesh Sinha, Satish Pal Munjani, JMM district president Mushtaq Alam and others.
