Ranchi, May 20 (HS). A joint delegation of Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) met Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) K. Ravi Kumar on Monday and submitted a memorandum. During this, the delegation lodged a complaint against BJP candidate from Godda Nishikant Dubey and demanded immediate action.
The delegation said that Congress candidate Pradeep Yadav complained to the District Election Officer Godda regarding hiding information in the nomination declaration form of Nishikant Dubey but no action was taken. The delegation said that Nishikant Dubey has not mentioned in the manifesto the Podaiyahat police station case number 162/2009 and Jasidih police station case number 213/2019 which are pending in the court.
Apart from this, Nishikant Dubey has mentioned in the manifesto that he has borrowed Rs 1 crore 20 lakh from Abhishek Jha in the name of his wife, while Abhishek Jha, who has filed nomination as an independent candidate from Godda Lok Sabha constituency, has mentioned this in his own manifesto.
