Jammu, July 14 (HS). After the results of the by-elections on 13 assembly seats of 7 states, the state Congress leaders are elated. General Secretary of Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee and former Chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation Satish Sharma, while addressing the OBC meeting in Bavliana of RS Pura Jammu South Assembly, said that in the elections held on 13 seats, BJP was reduced to just 2, the remaining 10 were won by the All India Alliance candidates while 1 independent candidate won.

He said that the crushing defeat of BJP in the by-elections after the Lok Sabha elections shows that this is the defeat of BJP's arrogance. He said that the way inflation is increasing in the country today, it has become difficult for housewives to run the kitchen. Unemployment is increasing continuously. Educated youth are wandering for jobs. They are not getting employment and all this is happening due to the wrong policies of the central government. Satish Sharma said that as soon as the Congress government is formed in the upcoming assembly elections, the people of Jammu and Kashmir will be given a big relief in electricity and water and along with this, the ration available at government shops will also be increased so that the poor people can eat two meals comfortably.
