First of all understand, what is Pay Commission?

It is expected that the government may take a decision on the new pay commission after the elections are over. However, till now no official announcement has been made by the government regarding the 8th Pay Commission, but according to the information received from the Finance Ministry, there is every possibility that the discussion on it will start after the elections. Employees organizations also want the government to clarify its position on the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission and the arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA) as soon as possible.
