Fatehabad, July 15 (HS). Due to the call of the state-wide strike by the Computer Professional Union, the computer operators working in the government departments of Fatehabad remained on strike on Monday. The strike of the computer operators had a great impact on the offices located in the Mini Secretariat. All the work here came to a standstill due to the strike. Due to this, the E-Disha Center remained completely empty.
Due to the strike, all the work related to making licenses, issuing Fard and other documents came to a standstill in the E-Disha Center. Being the first day of the week, there was a crowd of people. People reached the E-Disha Center, but had to return. People alleged that the district administration should have made arrangements earlier, but it was not done. State Vice President of Computer Professional Union Sukhwinder Singh and District President Devi Lal said that the Computer Professional Union has been continuously struggling for its demands for a long time.
After the in-principle approval of the service rules under the chairmanship of the then Chief Minister Manohar Lal along with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh on 11 September 2019, no work has been done on it for 4 years now. He told that their demand is that DITS should be centralized and budget provision should be made. Posts should be created for all working employees. All the employees sent to HKRNL should be adjusted back in DITS. Service security should be provided till 58 years, but the government is ignoring their demands. That is why this strike is being done. If their demands are not met soon, the strike can last long. Apart from Fatehabad, work remained stalled in the e-Disha centers of Ratia and Tohana. People came to get work done, but due to no employees, they had to return.
