Prayagraj, August 10 (HS). A 'Just a Minute' competition was organized in the Law Department of Ishwar Sharan Degree College on the Constitution, current affairs and legal terms. The objective of this competition is to develop communication skills, self-confidence and intelligence skills in students.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Dubey said that in the competition organized on Saturday, extempore speech competition was held on topics like child marriage, triple talaq law, dowry harassment, natural justice, artificial intelligence, independence of judiciary, punishment, separation of power, vis major, provision of emergency in constitution, Bangladesh crisis, Paris Olympics-2024, democracy etc.
This competition was held in two phases. A total of twenty participants participated in the first phase. A total of nine participants were selected in the second phase of the competition. Dr. Runjhun, Kartik Asthana and Ashutosh Singh were the judges in the competition. Student Shivansh Srivastava got the first place in the competition, Vasundhara Yadav got the second place, Aparna Akanksha got the third place and Shivansh Mishra got the fourth place.
College Principal Prof. Anand Shankar Singh motivated the students to improve their personality and to regularly participate in competitions. Law Department Coordinator Dr. Manoj Kumar Dubey encouraged the students. The program was conducted by Law Department student Shivansh Srivastava. Law Department teachers Dr. Manisha Khanna, Dr. Deepika Sharma, Dr. Jagriti, Srishti Singh were present in the program.
