New Delhi: Jet fuel or ATF prices were cut by 4.6% today. The price of 19 kg commercial cylinder used in hotels and restaurants has been increased by Rs 39. These changes have been made keeping in mind the international price of oil.
According to state-owned oil marketing companies, the price of one kilolitre of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) in Delhi has fallen by Rs 4,495.5 (4.58 per cent) to Rs 93,480.22.
This reduction in ATF will reduce the fuel bill of airlines. Let us tell you that earlier the price of ATF was increased on 1 August and 1 July. On August 1, the price of ATF was increased by 2 percent and on July 1, it was increased by 1.2 percent. However, on June 1, the price of ATF was reduced by 6.5 percent.
The prices of commercial cylinders have also been increased for the second consecutive month. On August 1, the price of commercial cylinders was increased by Rs 6.5.
However, before this, the price of commercial cylinder has been reduced for four consecutive months. In these four reductions, the price was reduced by a total of Rs 148.
The price of 19 kg commercial cylinder has become Rs 1644 in Mumbai, Rs 1802.50 in Kolkata and Rs 1855 in Chennai.
However, the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder used for domestic consumption has not been reduced. Its price remains at Rs 803. Similarly, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. In Delhi, the price of petrol remains stable at Rs 94.72 and the price of diesel at Rs 87.62.
