Comedian Shyam Rangeela, resident of Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, will contest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi. Talking to 'Rajasthan Tak' he said, 'I have left for Varanasi. After reaching there, I will finalize the process of filling the form and the strategy to contest the elections. Nowadays politics is running like a comedy, so I decided to contest elections. From Varanasi, Congress has given ticket to Ajay Rai, while BSP has fielded Syed Neyaz Ali.

Shyam Rangeela said that I have taken this decision so that the condition of Kashi should not be like that of Surat and Indore. Even if the opposition candidates contesting against Prime Minister Modi withdraw their nomination, I will contest the elections at any cost. Anyone can contest elections against the Prime Minister, this is democracy. He said, 'I will contest elections from Varanasi with the support of the public. I will announce the complete process of contesting the elections very soon on my YouTube channel.

Comedian Shyam Rangeela said that he is not taking any team from Sriganganagar to contest elections in Kashi. He said, 'I will prepare the entire team from among the people of Varanasi. I am getting calls from many people from Varanasi, they are all ready to join me. Winning or losing is a different matter, but I will contest against the Prime Minister at any cost. I am not contesting elections to become famous, I am already quite famous among the public.

Let us tell you that due to withdrawal of proposers in Surat, nominations of both main and alternate candidates of Congress had become invalid. While other candidates voluntarily withdrew their nominations and thus BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal won the election as an independent candidate. In Indore, Congress candidate Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew his nomination and joined BJP. Since the deadline for nomination had also ended, Congress could not field any alternative candidate. In this way Congress was left without a candidate in Indore.
