come on! Let's learn and make your life successful | News India

20 04 2024 Success Lies In Ones

From the time we are born till we leave this world, we learn and teach a lot. But they do not take action on it. Learning is important, teaching is even more important. But action comes first because things happen only through action. It is true that just as all our five ears are not the same, in the same way all our habits are also not the same. Similarly, not everyone has the same desire to learn. Just one bad habit is enough to make a person zero. But if there are very bad habits, God forbid. It takes a lifetime to form a good habit but a good habit is learned only when learned. Our life is like a bucket of milk. Bad and evil habits are like a drop of poison, which makes the whole milk of life undrinkable. Let's talk about some things, habits and other behaviors in our daily life. Let us understand, explain and move forward.

Give up ego and pride

First of all we should learn from ego/arrogance that if someone tells us about a mistake with the intention of correcting our bad habit then we should not get angry but should take it as a correction if we blame the person who told us about our mistake. If we get angry then understand that we are making another mistake. There is a very famous saying that if someone sees you and can tell the quality then the deal is not expensive. Well, I should not talk about myself, rather I would like to talk about a lesson from my life. I had a bad habit since childhood that whenever someone came to our house or I went to someone's house, I used to empty my cup of tea into someone else's cup. When I was appointed as a judge in the judiciary, I went to the house of a close relative of mine. There was tea for four people and as per my habit, I poured the tea from my cup little by little into the other three cups. An illiterate but intelligent person sitting there told me that brother, now you have become an officer, if you do not get angry then I have one advice that you should improve your habits, then it will be very good for you in future.

I did not feel bad about this good advice of that person, rather this good advice of his opened my eyes. If I was proud of my position, how did this person have the courage to tell me this? So perhaps I will never be able to improve this habit of mine. I saw his fearlessness as the need to correct his bad habit. The person was right because when we pour tea from our cup to someone else's cup then firstly it does not taste good, secondly the tea may spill and thirdly if you want to drink less tea then please ask to pour the tea in the other cup. . I still benefit from learning it.

use pen instead of tongue

A judge was newly appointed to a station. A police officer came to his court who had made a mistake. That judge was scolding that police officer very loudly. The judge was losing his temper and saying that the police officer should be given severe punishment. A rural and less educated but intelligent friend of the judge was listening to all this sitting in his retiring room. When the judge returned to the retiring room after holding court, he took the friend to his home. His friend was very intelligent and while walking with the judge in the evening, he had said that brother, any officer should sit on a high chair and express his high thinking and should control his language. If you are proficient with the pen, then use the pen, not the tongue. The judge understood and vowed to reform his habits and thanked his dear friend.

learn from others' mistakes

Once an uncle told his nephew that nephew, do not drink alcohol, it is bad. The nephew replied, “Uncle, you yourself drink a lot of alcohol. After drinking too much, you met with a terrible accident and suffered a lot of injuries.” The uncle replied, Nephew, the right person is the one who learns from the mistakes of others, not from his own. Uncle further said that I used to drink alcohol so this accident happened to me. Nephew understood. The lesson learned from this example is that if someone makes a mistake and learns from it and explains it to you, then you should not get angry because you can also learn from the experience of other people's mistakes.

procrastinate

Another thing to learn and understand is that we should never delay or procrastinate in work. Especially when we have to do something ourselves, we should not leave it to the future. This creates unnecessary stress. What has to be done tomorrow, why not today? But why not now? The second thing is that when we face any difficulty or problem, we sit with our heads bowed. We keep creating problems but do not pay attention to their solutions. Instead of wasting unnecessary time thinking about the problem, we should focus on its proper solution. We have often seen that this becomes a problem when an accident happens and someone gets seriously injured. If instead of taking the injured to hospital, we start fighting with each other, it could cause double or triple damage. At that time, one should use patience and brain to solve the problem.

difference between big and small

No one is big or small, understanding is always small and big. We can also learn from rickshaw pullers. A rickshaw puller with an injured leg was driving the rickshaw. The rider sitting behind his rickshaw asked him how are you driving a rickshaw with an injured leg? The rickshaw puller replied, Babu ji, the rickshaw pulls not with its legs but with its stomach. What I mean to say is that a rickshaw puller seriously injured her sense of humor and discipline with a single reply.

Two men were carrying bananas. A hawker's bananas were selling like crazy because his bananas were round, ripe and sweet. But the bananas of the other street vendor were a little raw and not sweet. He was worried about how he would feed his children if his bananas were not sold today. A wise man was passing through his street and he sensed the mood of the banana seller. He gave a good advice to the banana seller to put a label of sugar free bananas on his rake. It was too late to put in the slip when all the bananas in his shop were sold. Anyone can teach, but we have to learn.

proper use of water

An IAS officer came to meet another officer in the cold weather. The attendant of that IAS officer brought a big glass filled with water. The officer explained to the servant that whenever a glass of water has to be given in the cold season, it should be given in very small quantity because in the cold season very little water is drunk and only three-fourth of the water is left. Sure, it is a very small thing but if it is learned and implemented then we can save so much clean water. Apart from this, it is often seen that we lose a lot of water in everyday life. Many times we waste a lot of water by leaving the tap open while bathing. During the construction of a building, clean water is poured into a dirty drain. If there is water there is life. For this reason water should not be allowed to burn.

act wisely in times of crisis

An engineer and his wife were going over a canal bridge in their car and suddenly a tire of the car got punctured. When he opened all four screws to change the tyre, suddenly all the screws fell into the canal. Both of them became very upset and waited for a long time for someone to come so that they could go to the nearby town and get the tire fixed. An illiterate but experienced man was passing by. He told the engineer to open one screw from the remaining three tires and fix it on this tyre, once this your work will be done and the car will also run. The thing to understand here is that a common man taught a beautiful thing to an engineer. So, from the above examples we should understand that there are no degrees of intelligence and intelligence. Something can be learned even from the smallest, illiterate or less educated person. If you want to learn. Knowledge is created by society and is part of all our lives. Learning is a living process. Which we all keep following continuously in our life. So let's learn and make your life successful.
