Twenty-seven people, including the president of the Colombian Football Confederation and his son, have been arrested for allegedly controlling the crowd at the Copa America final between Argentina and Colombia. Local police official Andre Martin said supporters of both teams were inside the Hard Rock Stadium, forcing their way into the final match
Due to which Ramon Jesuran and his son Ramon Jamil were arrested. Both of them had a heated argument with the security guard. Both of them tried to enter the field through a tunnel where the media was. When the security personnel tried to stop him, he got angry and also beat up the security guard. The Colombian Football Confederation has not yet made any statement on this matter. Ramon has been the President of the Colombian Football Confederation since 2015 and is also the Vice President of the South American Football Confederation, which hosts the Copa America tournament. The organization said on Monday that it regretted that many football supporters entered the field without tickets, which tarnished the image of the tournament. Due to this the match started one hour late.
