On Wednesday, the Collector honored the government servants retiring in the month of October 2024 in the Prerna meeting room of the District Office by presenting them with flower garlands and shawls and quinces. PPO letters were provided to these retired government servants. On this occasion, senior treasury officer Sanjay Sonwani said that out of 20 government servants retired in the month of September, pension authorization letters have been issued to 12 retired government servants. In the cases of remaining retired government servants, PPO will be provided after completing the proceedings soon. He also informed about the payment of other properties in the coming month.
On this occasion, retired government servants shared their experiences and termed the initiative of honoring retired government servants by providing them PPO on their retirement day itself as a commendable effort. During this time, other officers-employees of the District Treasury and retired government servants were present.
Collector Haris S said in a function organized in the Inspiration Room of the District Office on Wednesday that due to the initiative of the government, a meaningful effort is being made to issue PPO to the government servants of the district retiring every month at the time of completion of their government service. . In the coming days, every possible initiative will be taken to provide PPO to 100% retired government servants on their retirement day itself. It is the endeavor of the administration that along with retirement, all the rights of the concerned government servants for their hard work in government service for a long time should be paid on time.
