Dhamtari, July 25 (HS). Collector Namrata Gandhi held a monthly review meeting of revenue officers in the Collectorate hall on Thursday. She reviewed in detail the functioning of the revenue department, including the implementation of the government's scheme and the status of redressal of revenue cases. During this, the collector said that as per the instructions of the government, pending cases in the revenue courts should be settled soon, so that the general public does not have to come to the office again and again for revenue related cases.

In the meeting, Collector Ms. Gandhi also discussed about the solutions to the obstacles being faced in the work area. In the meeting, the Collector advised the revenue officers to prepare an action plan in advance for revenue related works and then work on it. Also, the Tehsildar should visit the villages once a month and resolve the problems of the villagers. Before the purchase of paddy at the support price starting in the coming days, the work of death and division should be completed. The Revenue Department is directly connected to the common people, therefore the Revenue officers should work with sensitivity. Understanding and compromise should be encouraged in the division of ancestral agricultural land among co-shareholders and in pending revenue cases.

Collector Gandhi said in the review meeting that the revenue officers should ensure positive results of the welfare schemes of the government, so that the targeted sections can get the benefits. Complete the targets on time by implementing the schemes of the revenue department as per the intention of the government. Ensure that eligible beneficiaries benefit from the schemes of the revenue department. Along with the review, detailed information was taken on revenue matters related to the common villagers. The collector asked to give ownership rights to eligible beneficiaries interested in government land under Nazul lease in urban areas as per the guidelines. He said that the officers should pay special attention to their core work along with other works.

In the meeting, undisputed, disputed name transfer, account division, demarcation, diversion, tree felling cases, information of digitally signed khasras, private account holder, co-account holder and Aadhar entry, record accuracy, map partition, compulsory land acquisition cases, ownership plan, free B-one and khasra distribution, renewal of Nazul leases, etc. were reviewed tehsil-wise. The collector directed the officials to resolve revenue related cases within the time limit. Additional collector GR Markam, joint collector Ramkumar Kripal along with all SDMs and tehsildars and naib tehsildars were present in the meeting.
