Cold will increase in the coming days, temperature likely to go below 10 degrees

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be severe cold in the state in the coming 15 days. After December 25, the effect of cold will intensify, and the temperature may go below 10 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, people need to be careful from cold.

Pusa remains the coldest, feeling of heat in Madhubani

On Friday, the coldest was felt in Pusa, Bihar, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius. Madhubani, on the other hand, was the hottest place in the state, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in the capital Patna on Friday was 23 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 12.5 degrees Celsius.

70 percent humidity increases cold in Patna

70 percent humidity was recorded in Patna on Thursday, which further increased the feeling of cold. According to Sanjay Kumar, senior scientist of Patna Meteorological Centre, the effect of heavy snowfall in the mountainous areas of the Himalayas is also being seen in Bihar. The cold winds coming from the north-west direction have engulfed the entire state.

The Meteorological Department estimates that there will be a continuous decline in temperature in the next two weeks. Cold is at its peak in Bihar in the last fortnight of December. As the icy winds become stronger, melting will increase and people will have to face shivering.

There is silence in the markets as the temperature drops

The effect of winter is clearly visible on the daily routine of the capital Patna. The temperature is falling rapidly since sunset. A drop of 7 degrees Celsius was observed in the temperature by 7 pm on Friday evening. Due to this, the crowd in the markets started reducing.

There was silence in the markets till 9 pm. The movement of people on the roads also reduced drastically. Due to cold, people are returning to their homes early.

Melting increased due to Himalayan snowfall

Experts say that due to continuous snowfall in the Himalayas, the effect of cold is increasing in Bihar. The cold winds coming from the north-west direction are rapidly dropping the temperature in the plains. The Meteorological Department estimates that the minimum temperature in most parts of Bihar may reach 6 to 8 degrees Celsius in the next 15 days.

In the last week of December, there will be shivering cold in many parts of the state. Due to cold winds, people will have to face severe cold.

The Meteorological Department and health experts have advised people to take precautions to avoid cold. Especially children, elderly and people with weak immunity need more attention.
