During this period, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, North Haryana and Uttarakhand. This western disturbance may trigger winter-like conditions in these areas before the festival of Diwali.
However, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be heavy rain in the hilly areas, but there is no possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR. As the festival of Diwali is approaching, people of North India are not only looking forward to the festival but also the possibility of nature blooming as the winter season is going to start soon in the northern states.
Minimum temperature starts falling in Delhi
Mild cold is being felt in Delhi in the morning and night. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), a drop in minimum temperature has been recorded in Delhi-NCR. At the same time, the sky will remain clear in Delhi throughout this week and there will be movement of clouds during this period. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi is likely to remain between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius this entire week and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 17 to 19 degrees Celsius.
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, cold is gradually increasing in the northern plains. The temperature is gradually going down in Delhi. North-westerly winds coming from the slopes of the mountains can reduce the mercury in Delhi. The evenings and nights will be pleasant and the morning will be slightly cool with a light breeze. There will be no humidity during the day and the afternoon will be pleasant with mild heat.
