Paris, June 5 (HS). World number three tennis player Coco Gauff of America has made it to the semi-finals of the French Open for the second time. Gauff made a comeback after trailing by one set in the women's singles quarter-finals played on Tuesday and entered the semi-finals by defeating Tunisian player Ons Jabeur.
Gauff, the reigning US Open champion and former Roland Garros runner-up, won 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 on Court Philippe Chatrier. She will face tournament favourite Iga Swiatek or Marketa Vondrousova in the semi-finals.
This will be American star Gauff's third consecutive Grand Slam semifinal, having also made the last four at the Australian Open this year. Tunisian eighth seed Jabeur is still waiting for her first major title, having lost three finals and four quarter-finals.
