Ankleshwar: Gujarat connection came to light during further interrogation of the accused arrested after Delhi Police seized 770 kg of cocaine a few days ago. On receiving information about these medicines being manufactured in Avkar Drugs Company located at Ankleshwar GIDC, Bharuch, Delhi Police along with the team of Bharuch Police conducted a raid on Sunday. In which 518 kg of cocaine worth Rs 5,000 crore was found. Which was prepared by the company and supplied to Delhi and other cities of the country. Delhi Police has started investigation in this regard in collaboration with the local police.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police seized 770 kg of cocaine worth Rs 7,000 crore on October 1 and October 10 and interrogated the accused. In which the quantity of these medicines was prepared from Avkar Drugs Company located at Ankleshwar GIDC, Gujarat and brought to Delhi. Based on this, on Sunday, a team of Delhi Police along with personnel of SOG, local crime branch of Bharuch Police, raided Avkar Drugs Company. In which 518 kg of cocaine worth Rs 5,000 crore was found. Which was to be prepared and supplied to other cities. Police have seized this amount and arrested five people including company owner Ashwin Ramani. Initial investigation has revealed that the accused have links with Dubai and England. It is noteworthy that on October 1, 560 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hybrid ganja was seized from Delhi. After this, 208 kg of cocaine was seized from a shop located in Rameshnagar, Delhi. It was prepared from Welcome pharmaceutical company and reached Delhi in the guise of medicine. Thus in this case, so far 1289 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hybrid ganja worth Rs 13 thousand crore have been seized.
