Coaching couple murder case solved, father and brother arrested

Hazaribagh, June 23 (HS). Police has solved the murder case of coaching operator couple Rahul and Puja. The mastermind of the incident was Rahul's father Ishwar Mehta and his brother Bablu Kumar Mehta became the mastermind. The couple did not go missing on the 15th but were murdered in their own house between 8 and 9 in the night. Father Ishwar was guarding in the street below and in the room above, the younger brother along with four hired criminals was ruthlessly killing his own brother and his wife. This information was given by SP Arvind Kumar Singh during a press conference.

SP said that six lakh rupees were given as contract for murder and two lakh rupees were given as advance. Five people carried out the murder, including Rahul's younger brother, Bobby Kumar father Suresh Paswan, Katkamdag, Ashish Pandey father Ashok Pandey Ichak, Pandey Tola, Vicky Kumar father Ashok Ram Parasi Ichak and Sonu Kumar Sinha father Vinod Kumar Sinha Pachamba, Giridih. SP said that in this regard, an FIR of murder has been lodged by the father of a Sanha Pooja in Ichak police station. Police will conduct FSL and DNA tests on the recovered bones. Among the arrested accused, Ashish Kumar Pandey's leg was broken while trying to escape. He was treated after being arrested in police custody. Late evening, all the six accused were sent to jail after being produced in judicial custody.

Ishwar Mehta, who got his own son and daughter-in-law killed by giving contract killers, was doing recce under the house even at the time of murder. When he came to know that both of them had been killed, he went home without worry. When the bodies of both were brought to Parasi crematorium at around 12 in the night, Ishwar Saav reached Parasi and performed the duty of cremation and lit the funeral pyre of his son. The father himself had bought wood from Hasel village of Barka Kala Panchayat of Ichak three days ago and had kept it at a fixed place. An attempt was made to destroy the evidence by burning the bodies completely using diesel and tyres.
