Lucknow, 24 September. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday gave a big gift to those who dream of owning a house in the capital. In a program organized at village Dona near Agra Expressway, amidst chanting of Vedic mantras, the Chief Minister performed the Bhoomi Pujan of Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar schemes of Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) in 10,680 acres at a cost of Rs 12 thousand crore. During this, CM Yogi inaugurated the registration for 4520 plots and also laid the foundation stone of five multistorey housing projects (Lake View, Park View, Aishbagh Square, Aditi Apartment located in Anant Nagar Yojana and Vageshwari Apartment located in Sharda Nagar Extension) proposed for Rs 2166 crore. The Chief Minister also planted saplings at the venue of the programme. He said that unlike previous governments, now Katta-bombs are being manufactured in Lucknow, but BrahMos missiles are being manufactured.
More than 10 lakh people will get housing facilities in Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar schemes.
CM said that the Digpal of the west of any city is Varun deity. In Varun Vihar, six lakh people will get housing facilities in an area of more than 6500 acres and 4 lakh people will get housing facilities in 4100 acres under Naimish scheme. CM also explained the importance of Naimisharanya, saying that to keep the spiritual and cultural heritage alive, LDA has come up with a new plan in the form of Naimish Nagar in the border area of Lucknow and Sitapur.
Both schemes will be beneficial for everyone
CM said that both these schemes have been brought with a view to the expansion, possibilities and safe housing of Lucknow in the coming times. Both these housing schemes will be extremely beneficial for the students studying, youth who want to enhance their chances in healthcare, those coming to the capital for employment and the citizens who consider Lucknow as their future and live here.
Varun Vihar will get connectivity to Purvanchal Expressway.
CM said that now there will be no distance between Lucknow and Sitapur. There will also be four lane connectivity here. Will provide connectivity to Purvanchal Expressway from the middle of Varun Vihar. He clarified that there will be no mediator between LDA and farmers in our government. All the farmers who will get land under the schemes will get direct compensation.

Under the leadership of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, modern infrastructure, airport and metro are expanding. Result of unplanned work is also wrong
CM said that last year our government took forward the Anant Nagar residential project in 785 acres and this year two big residential schemes named Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar are taking shape in 10 thousand acres. Earlier people used to buy land everywhere. There were no roads, electricity, water etc. and due to water logging one had to live a hellish life. Even if the owner of the land sold the land to some bully or goon, there was a problem. The result of unplanned work is also wrong.
Planned urban development necessary for increasing population
Praising the Lucknow Development Authority, the Chief Minister said that planned urban development is extremely necessary for the increasing population. Now Lucknow has established itself as a new hub of education, healthcare, world class infrastructure, modern technology, manufacturing. All-round connectivity, Tata Automobile and Ashoka Leyland’s EV manufacturing plants are giving a new identity to Lucknow. Connectivity from Lucknow to Agra, Eastern Uttar Pradesh and all around has improved. The development work of Kisan Path, Green Corridor and AI City is giving a new identity to Lucknow.
Development of surrounding districts through SCR also
CM said that along with Lucknow, a plan is also being made for the regional development of Unnao, Hardoi, Barabanki, Sitapur, Rae Bareli in the form of State Capital Region (SCR). Systematic work is going on for the improvement of public mobility, world class infrastructure, education, tourism and connectivity etc. in all these districts.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Modi constantly pays attention that every section of the society should have housing facilities and their life should be easy and simple. Prime Minister’s residence given to 4 crore poor people in 12 years is an example of this. In the schemes here also, residential facilities (PM Housing, Affordable Housing, Group Housing, Plot etc.) are being provided for every income group.
Compensation went into farmers’ accounts
CM said that the compensation amount was sent to the account of every farmer who gave land. Munishwar Singh got compensation of Rs 3.13 crore, Ramdei Rs 2.05 crore, Kamlesh Kumar Rs 2.80 crore, Sushma Singh Rs 2.90 crore, Omprakash Awasthi Rs 1.96 crore. All these farmers bought land elsewhere with this money and also secured their future. Awasthi ji bought 16 bighas of land and deposited the remaining money in the bank as FD. Namra Fatima purchased land from the compensation and also secured funds for her medical studies. The Chief Minister advised the farmers that when they get money, instead of buying Bolero, they should utilize it in purchasing industries or land. This will increase money.

Highlighting the importance of Lucknow, the Chief Minister said that Lucknow, which cherishes the memories of the younger brother of Lord Shri Ram, a symbol of India’s heritage, is providing leadership to the new Uttar Pradesh of the new India. Lucknow had shaken the foundations of British rule in the first freedom struggle of 1857. Lucknow had posed a challenge to the British rule by carrying out the Kakori Train Action in 1925. Young revolutionaries like Pt. Ramprasad Bismil, Thakur Roshan Singh, Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sachindra Nath Bakshi, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Rajendra Nath Lahiri raised a new cry for independence through Lucknow.
