Abusing UP Chief Minister Yogi's brother Shailesh Bisht over the phone and threatening to kill his family members proved costly for a Congress leader and district panchayat member.
Shailesh Bisht has given a written complaint in this regard at the police station Kotwali Kotdwar. On the basis of the complaint of Shailesh Bisht, brother of Chief Minister Yogi, the police has registered a case against the accused under the relevant sections of the Indian Judicial Code and started investigation.
Shailesh Bisht, a resident of village Panchur in Pauri district of Uttarakhand, lodged a complaint with the Kotwali police on July 11. It was told that he is in the army and is currently posted in Kotdwar.
He said that Zila Panchayat member Kranti Kapaduvan had uploaded a post against his family on Facebook on June 16. When he protested against this and called the alleged accused and asked him to remove the post, he used abusive and foul language on the phone.
25 days after the incident, the accused called her again and abused her family members again. It is alleged that even after doing all this, when the accused was not satisfied, he threatened to kill the family. Meanwhile, the accused also threatened to kill her.
He said that the accused has committed such crimes in Neelkanth area earlier also. He said that he also has call recordings of the accused. Kotwali in-charge inspector Mani Bhushan Srivastava said that on the basis of the complaint of Shailesh Bisht, a case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the Indian Judicial Code.
