UP 69000 Teacher Recruitment: Allahabad High Court has ordered the cancellation of the merit list of 69 thousand teacher recruitment in UP. After which the politics of the whole country has heated up. There was a debate going on across the country whether the Yogi government will follow the order of the High Court or go to the Supreme Court. Regarding this, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the UP government will follow the order of Allahabad High Court.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote a post on this matter on X and informed that, “Today I have been informed about all the facts of the decision of the Hon'ble Court in the matter of recruitment of 69 thousand teachers by the Basic Education Department. The department has been directed to take action keeping in mind the comment of the Hon'ble High Court and the decision of the Lucknow Bench of the Hon'ble High Court, Allahabad, so that the benefit of reservation provided by the Constitution is given and no injustice is done to any candidate.

Before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Modi government minister and NDA ally Anupriya Patel and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also welcomed the decision of the Allahabad High Court.

The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has ordered the preparation of a new list instead of the selection list declared in June 2020 and the selection list of 6800 students on 5 January 2022 for the appointment of 69 thousand teachers under the Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination (ATRE) in Uttar Pradesh.
