Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, will visit two major districts of Devipatan division— Bahraich and Shravasti Are on tour. This visit of CM Yogi is being considered very important for the civic body and the upcoming election preparations as well as to speed up the development of Terai region. During his one-day visit, the Chief Minister is going to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of more than 150 development projects worth more than ₹ 750 crore related to infrastructure, roads, health facilities and rural development for both the districts. From a reporter’s point of view, this package of basic facilities for the flood sensitive Terai area will prove to be a big gift for the local citizens.
Bahraich: Gift of 70 projects worth ₹350 crore in Bednapur
Chief Minister’s first stop is Bednapur (Mahsi tehsil) of Bahraich:

Projects: CM Yogi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 70 development projects worth more than ₹ 350 crore for Mahsi and Nanpara assembly constituencies of Bahraich by pressing the button.

Large public gathering and security: Extensive preparations have been made to address the public meeting at Ramlila Maidan in Bednapur. More than 1,400 policemen have been deployed for security arrangements at the venue.

Certificate to Beneficiaries: On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also distribute checks and acceptance letters to the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes (PM Awas, Ayushman Bharat etc.).
Shravasti: Gift of 83 projects worth ₹400 crore in Sitadwar
After the public meeting in Bahraich, the Chief Minister’s helicopter will directly reach Sitadwar, a famous religious place located at Ikauna in Shravasti district:

Development Box: CM Yogi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 83 projects worth ₹ 400 crore in Sitadwar, the holy birthplace of Luvkush.

Religious and Tourism Development: Projects for beautification of roads and tourist facilities in the Sitaadwar temple complex and surrounding rural areas along with the Buddhist circuit in Shravasti will be flagged off.
Administrative officers and public representatives on alert
Regarding the arrival of CM Yogi, Devipatan Division Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal, DIG Ashok Kumar, District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police inspected the program venues and helipads of both the districts and took stock of the security and basic arrangements. Minister in-charge Dinesh Pratap Singh and local MLAs of the area will also be present in the program.
According to administrative officials, this visit of the Chief Minister will prove to be a major milestone in flood control, health center infrastructure and connectivity in the districts of Terai region.
