Lucknow, 9 October (Hindu). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big Diwali gift to the Chakbandi accountants. He has promoted the waiting Chakbandi Lekhpals of the state after 8 years. 728 Consolidation Lekhpals of 68 districts of the state have been promoted to the post of Consolidation Officer (Kanungo). This important step of Chief Minister Yogi will not only add a new chapter in the career of the officers, but will also speed up the settlement of land related disputes of the farmers of the state. This will enrich the agricultural sector of the state and bring prosperity in the lives of farmers.

Consolidation Commissioner Bhanu Chandra Goswami said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is making serious efforts for quick settlement of land disputes and consolidation problems in the state. Since 2016, many posts of Kanungo were lying vacant in various districts of the state, due to which obstacles were being created in the land reconsolidation and consolidation process. This was delaying the resolution of farmers' land-related disputes and also harming land reform efforts. Taking this problem seriously, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given instructions to fill the vacant posts. On his instructions, Departmental Promotion Committee was formed, through which 728 qualified Consolidation Accountants have been promoted.

Maximum promotion in Bareilly, Gorakhpur

In this promotion process, 60 Chakbandi Lekhpals of Bareilly district have been made Kanungo, which is the highest number in the state. After this, 41 Chakbandi Lekhpals have been promoted in Kannauj, 35 in Moradabad, 32 in Gorakhpur and 25 in Lalitpur. This decision will give new energy to the consolidation process in these districts and the land related problems of the farmers can be resolved quickly.

Agricultural land reform process will gain momentum

Appointment to the posts of Consolidator will help in smoothly implementing the process of land reform and consolidation in the state. Consolidation of land is of utmost importance to farmers as it allows them to consolidate their farms and utilize them in a better way. Proper realignment of land will increase the productivity of farmers and the state will develop in the direction of agriculture.

This step of Chief Minister Yogi is not only in the interest of farmers but is also being seen as a major success in the direction of revenue administration and land reforms in the state. This will speed up the settlement of land disputes and bring prosperity to the agricultural sector of the state.
