CM Yogi Adityanath Shamli Speech: Before 2017, sticks and bullets were fired on chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’, today flowers are showered on Kanwar Yatra: CM Yogi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a huge public meeting in Shamli, has made his sharpest attack on the opposition till date. CM Yogi said that the people who are seen advocating faith today are the same people who used to beat people with sticks, open fire and completely ban Kawand Yatra for chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in the state before 2017. Making a special appeal to the Kanwar Sanghs and Shiv devotees to maintain discipline regarding the upcoming Kanwar Yatra, the Chief Minister said that patience and dignity should be our biggest assets in life, hence there should not be any ruckus or dispute anywhere over small matters.

The Chief Minister warned that if there is any ruckus or indiscipline during the yatra, the opposition parties will keep a note of such scenes. After this, they will try to disrupt the Kanwar Yatra by any means possible by creating pressure from other places. CM Yogi said in clear words that if any wrong or anti-social person tries to create nuisance among the devotees, then identify him in advance and throw him out of the yatra.

Respect for faith in double engine government, but dignity is necessary

Giving advice to understand one’s dignity, the Chief Minister said, “For the smooth conduct of the Kanwar Yatra, the government is providing every possible support to the devotees for their safety, convenience and to realize their devotion. This is the double engine government which respects the faith of the people and showers flowers on the Kanwariyas from helicopters, but in return, all of us devotees have to understand our dignity and limitations very well.”

Without naming the opposition, the Chief Minister made serious allegations against the previous governments. He said that before 2017, the governments not only banned Kanwar Yatra, but grand events of Krishna Janmashtami were also stopped. The sacred processions of Ram Navami were not allowed to take place and the properties of religious places were illegally occupied. But in today’s Uttar Pradesh, no one can stop the Kanwar Yatra and the entire administrative staff is deployed on the streets to serve the devotees of Shiva. He reminded that we all are descendants of Lord Shri Ram and ardent devotees of Lord Bholenath, hence our conduct should also be the same.

SP-Congress accused of changing demography and being ‘worshippers of Jinnah’

Taking on Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) on the political front, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made very serious allegations. He said that these people were hatching a deep conspiracy to change the demography of the state. Describing the opposition as ‘worshippers and followers of Jinnah’, the CM said that it was because of their policies that Hindus were migrating from western Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister clearly said that the migration that took place from Kairana and Kandhla was not a normal thing but a well-planned mischief, an attempt was being made to change the demography here. He warned the public that these political parties will work to divide the society into castes for the sake of elections and self-interest, due to which everyone needs to be cautious.

CM roared on the elimination of Saifai’s job syndicate and mafia

Speaking on the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh and the end of mafia rule, the Chief Minister reminded his old promises. He roared and said, “We had promised the people of the state that either the mafia in UP would be inside the jail or it would be completely wiped out, today the government has made it come true.” Taking aim at the corruption of the previous governments, he said that earlier the youth government job syndicate was run by ‘Saifai’ alone, where nepotism was prevalent, but today the youth are getting employment with complete transparency.

Referring to electricity and industrial development, CM Adityanath said that 10 years ago, people of Uttar Pradesh used to yearn for every drop (supply) of electricity, but today uninterrupted electricity is reaching every city and village without any discrimination. On the issue of farmers, he said that during the governments of SP and BSP, 29 important sugar mills of the state were closed and these people had sold the sugar mills at throwaway prices. On the contrary, today during the tenure of BJP government, a record 122 sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh are running successfully at full capacity and farmers are getting their rights.
