CM Yogi has held a press conference regarding the Hathras incident. He said that it was a sad and painful tragedy. When the incident was reported, relief and rescue operations were started first. CM Yogi said that 121 devotees have died in the accident. Out of the 121 people who died, 6 people were from other states, MP, Haryana and Rajasthan respectively. The CM said that most of the people admitted to the hospital are out of danger. I spoke to the victims there. The CM said that residents of Hathras, Bandayu, Etah, Lalitpur, Agra, Firozabad, Sambhal and Pilibhit of UP have been killed. We have managed to get to the bottom of this entire incident. First of all, relief and rescue operations were carried out.

CM Yogi said that initially there was an attempt to suppress the incident but efforts have been made to get to the bottom of the incident. The case will be investigated under the leadership of a retired High Court judge. It will also be investigated whether it is a tragedy or a conspiracy. A judicial inquiry will be conducted into the incident. Not only this, whoever is found guilty will be given severe punishment. We have constituted an SIT under the chairmanship of ADG Agra. He has submitted the preliminary report. It has been asked to investigate it in depth. There are many aspects that need to be investigated. The state government has decided to conduct a judicial inquiry under the chairmanship of a retired High Court judge. Retired senior officials of the administration and police will also participate in it.

In the press conference, the Chief Minister said that the central and state government will give Rs 4 lakh to the deceased and Rs 1 lakh to the seriously injured.
