CM Shinde's claim, Maharashtra will be a part of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah replied

Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Operation Lotus: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has rejected Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's claim of trying to form a Karnataka government like Maharashtra.

Siddaramaiah said, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is living in illusion and daydreaming. He claimed that none of his MLAs would be ready to be sold.

While campaigning in Satara, Maharashtra, Shinde mentioned Operation Nath and claimed to overthrow the Karnataka government after the general elections.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, they will not be able to topple our government in Karnataka at any cost. This time the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is going to lose in the parliamentary elections.

The opposition has failed after making such efforts – On the possibility of such attempts after the Lok Sabha general elections, Siddaramaiah said, they have failed after making such attempts. So why would they try again? He expressed confidence that the Congress-led opposition coalition will win India's parliamentary elections and come to power.

Doubt on existence of Maharashtra government after elections: Shivkumar – Deputy Chief Minister and state Congress president Shivkumar also reacted, saying there were doubts over the survival of the Shinde-led Maharashtra government after the general elections.
