Raipur, June 13 (HS). On the occasion of World Blood Donation Day, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has appealed especially to the youth to save lives by donating blood. CM Sai said on Thursday that every year on June 14, the whole world including the World Health Organization celebrates World Blood Donation Day with the aim of promoting blood donation and raising awareness about blood donation.
Shri Sai said that blood is very important for saving lives in emergency situations, illness, accidents and delivery cases. Many times people are not able to get blood easily in emergency situations. Shri Sai said that everyone should understand the importance of blood donation. There is no harm of any kind in donating blood. Blood donation is a great donation and blood donors are invaluable servants of society and humanity.
