BJP has created history by forming the government in Haryana for the third time and Naib Singh Saini has taken power for the second time. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office to Naib Singh Saini at the Dussehra Ground in Sector 5, Panchkula. Meanwhile, 13 BJP MLAs took oath as ministers. BJP has tried to solve the caste and regional equation of Haryana through the Deputy Cabinet, but the dominance of South Haryana and GT Road Belt is clearly visible in the government.
Experienced and new faces in Saini cabinet
Anil Vij, Krishna Lal Panwar, Rao Narbir, Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goyal, Arvind Sharma, Shyam Singh Rana, Ranbir Gangwa, Krishna Bedi, Shruti Choudhary, Aarti Rao, Rajesh Nagar and Gaurav Gautam included in Naib Singh Saini's cabinet Is. In such a situation, BJP has tried to attract 36 communities by giving place to experienced as well as new faces in the Saini cabinet. Apart from this, an attempt has been made to create regional balance along with caste equation.
caste equation solved with cabinet
In the BJP government formed for the third time in Haryana, maximum attention has been given to the OBC community. Five OBC leaders including Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini have been given place in the cabinet. Apart from this, two ministers have been made from Dalit community, two from Jat community and two from Brahmin community. The party has also taken care of its core vote bank Punjabi community and made Anil Vij a minister. Apart from this, one Vaishya and one Thakur have been made ministers from the community. In this way Naib Saini has tried to reach out to all the communities of Haryana.
Most focus on OBC in cabinet
BJP's entire focus is on OBC votes in Haryana, due to which OBC community leaders are being given top priority in the cabinet. A total of five ministers have been made from OBC, out of which two are from Yadav, one Saini, one Prajapati and one from Gurjar community. Naib Singh Saini has been made the Chief Minister while Ranbir Gangwa, who comes from the Prajapati community, has been made the Minister. Rao Narveer Singh and Aarti Rao from Yadav community have been given place in the cabinet. Rajesh Nagar, who comes from Gurjar community, has been made minister.
35 to 40 percent OBC voters in Haryana
On one hand, BJP has given place to Rao Inderjit's daughter in the cabinet, while on the other hand, it has tried to create political balance by including his rival Rao Narveer Singh in the cabinet. On the basis of Yadav votes, BJP has wiped out Congress and other opposition parties in Ahirwal belt. This is the reason why special attention has been paid to the Yadav community to give the political message. There are 35 to 40 percent OBC voters in Haryana, out of which a large section stands with BJP. Therefore, five ministers have been made from the OBC community.
Chemistry formed between Jat-Dalit-Brahmin
The BJP may have handed over the reins of power to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, but it has also focused on its core vote bank Brahmin community and Dalits to form political alliances. Arvind Sharma and Gaurav Gautam have been included as Brahmin faces in the cabinet. The way the political battle was being fought for Dalit votes in this year's assembly elections and BJP was successful in including them, two Dalit leaders have got a place in Naib Saini's government. Krishnalal Panwar and Krishna Bedi have been positioned as Dalit faces. Panwar belongs to the Jatav community while Krishna Bedi belongs to the Valmiki community.
More than 25 percent voters in the state belong to Jat community.
Keeping in view the political equation of Haryana, BJP has also included the Jat community in the cabinet. Mahipal Dhanda and Shruti Chaudhary have been appointed from the Jat community in the Saini government. There are more than 25 percent Jat voters in the state and seeing the way BJP has registered victory in Jatland area, efforts are being made to give a political message to the Jat community by giving them representation in the cabinet.
Punjabi-Vaishya-Thakur's entry into the cabinet
BJP has also taken care of its core votebank Punjabi community. Former Home Minister Anil Vij, who won the election from Ambala Cantonment for the seventh time, has been appointed to the cabinet this time. Anil Vij was angry for a long time and had claimed the post of CM in the assembly elections. Naib was not included in the first term of the government, but he has been made a minister in the second term. Apart from this, Vipul Goyal from Vaishya community has been made minister. Like the Punjabi community, the Vaishya community is also considered the core vote bank of BJP, efforts are being made to keep it simple. Similarly, the party has made Shyam Singh Rana from the Thakur community a minister.
Haryana's efforts to create regional balance
Naib Singh Saini has gambled his cabinet to create not only sexual but also regional balance in Haryana. BJP has registered a huge victory in South Haryana. Due to this, Union Minister Rao Inderjit had also openly demanded to make him the Chief Minister of South Haryana. Despite not making CM from South Haryana, BJP has given good representation. Six ministers have been made from the South Haryana region, which include Gaurav Gautam, Vipul Goyal, Rajesh Nagar, Shruti Chaudhary, Rao Narbir and Aarti Rao.
4 ministers from GT Road Belt have got place in the cabinet.
Naib Singh Saini, who hails from the GT Road belt, has been crowned the Chief Minister. Apart from this, four ministers have been made from GT Road Belt. This includes veteran leaders like Anil Vij, Mahipal Dhanda, Krishna Lal Panwar, Krishna Bedi. Thus the BJP has adopted a strategy to retain its strong Durg GT road belt from Kurukshetra, Ambala and Panipat districts. Apart from this, BJP has given place in the cabinet to Ranbir Gangwan, who won from Hisar district of Western Haryana. In this way, only Arvind Sharma from Jatland has been made minister and the leaders of Western Haryana and Jatland have not got any special place in the Saini cabinet.
