After which the Punjab government has made a big announcement for the Indian hockey team that created history by winning the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics. Actually, the honorable government has announced to give Rs 1 crore to each player of the Indian hockey team. CM Bhagwant Mann himself has announced this by tweeting. He said that according to the sports policy of the government, the bronze medal winners of Punjab will be given a prize of Rs 1 crore each.

CM Bhagwant Mann has also congratulated the hockey team by tweeting. He said, “The Indian hockey team created history by defeating Spain 2-1 in the Paris Olympics and won the bronze medal. India has won the fourth Olympic medal in Paris. Congratulations to the entire hockey team. It is a matter of even more pride for us that there were 10 Punjabi players in it, including captain Harmanpreet Singh and vice-captain Hardik Singh. Every player of the team played with enthusiasm.”
