Tihar Jail administration has given permission to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Earlier, the Punjab Chief Minister's Office had written a letter seeking permission to go to Tihar Jail. On this, the jail administration has given him permission for normal visits under the visitation system.
While allowing the meeting to the Punjab CM, the jail administration said that he can meet Kejriwal like a normal visitor. In this, the rules under which they have been allowed to meet have been described as 'Mulaqaat Jangala'. It consists of an iron mesh that separates the prisoner from the visitors in a room inside the jail. In this, visitors and prisoners can sit on different sides of the net and talk to each other.
Let us tell you that Punjab CMO had written a letter to Tihar Jail administration asking for time to meet Kejriwal and also asked to make necessary arrangements for the meeting in the jail. On this, Tihar Directorate Sanjay Beniwal said that the reply will soon be sent to Punjab CMO.
