The health of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, arrested in the Delhi liquor scam case, has deteriorated. Quoting Aam Aadmi Party sources, it is being said that till now Kejriwal's weight has reduced considerably. After his arrest on March 21, Kejriwal's weight has reduced by four and a half kilos. Doctors have expressed concern over the CM's decreasing weight. However, according to Tihar Jail administration, Arvind Kejriwal is absolutely fine. Jail doctors have not expressed any such concerns.
After ED's custody, the court has sent Kejriwal to judicial custody till April 15. Kejriwal is currently lodged in Delhi's Tihar Jail. The Chief Minister is suffering from diabetes. In such a situation, the jail administration is keeping a close watch on his health. Kejriwal has been asked to provide glucometer, isabgol, glucose and toffee to the jail superintendent in case of sudden drop in sugar level.
Jail officials said that the jail doctors are keeping an eye on his health. Doctors are constantly meeting him and getting information about his condition. Sugar level is being checked. Clear instructions have been given to the jail staff and security personnel present around the cell that if anyone is seen in any unpleasant condition, they should immediately inform the senior officer and seek immediate medical help.
