Apart from this, Arvind Kejriwal has also challenged the June 26 order of a Delhi court, in which he was sent to CBI custody for three days. Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the CBI in the case of irregularities in the excise policy of the Delhi government.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was sent to judicial custody till July 12 by the Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday in a corruption case related to the liquor scam. Arvind Kejriwal was produced in the court by the CBI after three days of custodial interrogation. The CBI has requested to send Kejriwal to jail in judicial custody for 14 days, saying that his custody is necessary “in the interest of investigation and justice”.

Let us tell you that Special Judge Sunaina Sharma, while accepting the CBI's petition, said that Arvind Kejriwal should be presented in the court on July 12. ED has already arrested Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering case related to this matter. ED arrested Arvind Kejriwal on March 21 in the money laundering case. Kejriwal got bail from the lower court, which was stayed by the Delhi High Court and now the matter is in the Supreme Court.
