Korba, 7 September (HS). As per the instructions received from the government, Swachhata Pakhwada will be organized in the district from 14 September to 1 October under the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan. In the district level steering committee meeting held recently under the chairmanship of Collector Ajit Basant, it was decided to prepare a detailed action plan regarding the organization of the fortnight and conduct the campaign according to the plan. Corporation Commissioner Pratishtha Mamagai along with members of the steering committee and other officials were present in the meeting.
Under the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan, cleanliness work will be done by doing voluntary work in all the health centers, government and private schools, Anganwadi centers of the district and through Ganesh Utsav committees, people will be instructed and encouraged to put up boards, flex for the message of cleanliness and not to use single-use plastic.
