CBSE Class 10th, 12th Practical Exam Dates: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the practical exam date sheet for class 10th and 12th on the official website. Practical exams for classes 10th and 12th are scheduled to begin from January 1, 2025, while theory exams will begin from February 15, 2025. However, CBSE winter-bound schools will conduct practical examinations from November 5 to December 5, 2024. The board has also issued detailed standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines for conducting practical examinations, project work and internal assessments in these winter-bound schools, which will remain closed in January 2025.
Along with the announcement of exam date, CBSE has released the subject wise marks distribution for class 10 and 12. Schools are advised to review it thoroughly and ensure accuracy while uploading the practical marks, as once submitted, changes cannot be made in the marks. To assist schools in conducting both practical and theory examinations smoothly, CBSE has also provided a detailed list of subjects for both the classes. This list includes information like class, subject code, subject name, maximum marks for theory exams, practical exams, project assessment, internal assessment and type of answer sheet used in theory exams. Subject wise division of marks
CBSE has confirmed that each subject will have a total of 100 marks, with marks divided into Theory, Practical, Project and Internal Assessment as per the division given in the list. The theory exams are scheduled to start from February 15, 2025.
