Clash between two groups regarding Panchayat elections, 4 people injured, know the whole matter

Ludhiana News: Two groups campaigning for Panchayat elections came face to face in Pritam Vihar located in village Bhamiya Kalan of Ludhiana. Both sides have made serious allegations against each other. A total of 4 people are reported to have been injured in this fight. Candidate Aman Chandok, who came for treatment at the Civil Hospital, told that he is contesting the elections from Bhamiya Kalan as an independent candidate.

When he was campaigning in Pritam Vihar area, some people came and abused him and beat him with sharp weapons. Chandok said that he somehow escaped to save his life. He has stitches on his head. He has lodged a complaint at Jamalpur police station. Police should check the CCTV cameras installed in the area, maybe some clues can be found from there.

There itself Aam Aadmi Party Darshan Singh Mallah, leader of the second party and current sarpanch of Bhamiya Kalan, said that he has been the sarpanch of the village for the last 10 years. He was campaigning with his mother in his village when the clash took place. The people of the village told him that Aman was fighting with the people of Chandok village.

He has also misbehaved with a woman. People of the area have protested against Aman Chandok regarding this matter. Angry Aman and his associates attacked the people, in which a woman and a man were injured.
