Baghpat, 12 November (HS). In Baghpat district, there was a dispute among the advocates while blocking the road. The District Bar President had stopped some advocates from acting arbitrarily. Over which two parties clashed. There was a scuffle among themselves and even an attempt was made to hit them with a shoe.
On Tuesday, Baghpat District Bar Association took out a foot march to the highway regarding the case of lathicharge on advocates in Ghaziabad and blocked the highway after reaching it. Some advocates tried to create chaos by going beyond the schedule fixed by the Speaker.
During this, District Bar Association President Neeraj ended the protest by handing over a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister to Inspector Dixit Tyagi. Advocates trying to end anarchy opposed this. After which the two groups of advocates clashed with each other and there was a fierce scuffle and shoes were thrown. Seeing the matter escalating, some advocates and police officers came to the rescue and deliberately pacified both the sides of the advocates, after which the advocates returned to their chambers.
District Bar Association President Advocate Neeraj Kumar, Kapil Kumar Kalyan Singh, Prashant Tyagi, Vikas Kumar Vikas Bhardwaj and other advocates were present.
