In fact, councilors of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party presented a resolution against Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his alleged remarks against Ambedkar and demanded his resignation. The fight between councilors in Chandigarh Corporation has been captured on CCTV. After this this video has started going viral on social media also. In this video the councilors are seen fighting. Despite the cameras, some councilors continued fighting and did not stop. Amidst the uproar, the opposition has accused Amit Shah of insulting Ambedkar. However, BJP leaders have denied the allegations.
Councilor Anil Messiah is the root of controversy
The root of controversy in the corporation is nominated councilor Anil Masih. They reached Congress and AAP councilors and started raising slogans. At the same time, the councilors of both the parties were raising slogans calling Masih a vote thief, due to which Masih got angry and went into the well. He met Congress councilors and said that many leaders of the Congress party including Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are on bail. Then Congress advisors started waving posters against the Messiah. Meanwhile, BJP councilors tried to pull down the posters, after which pushing and fighting started from both sides.
