CJP movement at Jantar Mantar creates nationwide uproar, ruckus from Parliament to streets, high-level meeting continues at Home Minister’s house


The movement of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), which started from Jantar Mantar in Delhi demanding NEET exam scam and reform in the education system, has now taken a huge form in the entire country. From Delhi, Mumbai, Prayagraj to JP Golambar in Patna and Aizawl in Mizoram, students and various organizations have taken to the streets. Keeping in view the security in Delhi, 16 metro stations have been closed and 20 additional companies of CRPF have been deployed. More than 200 soldiers have been injured in the clashes between the agitators and the police and the police have so far registered 10 FIRs.

Opposition came to Parliament in black clothes, clash with Rahul Gandhi

There is a sharp deadlock on this issue during the monsoon session of Parliament. MPs from opposition parties reached the Parliament complex wearing black clothes and raised slogans against the government at Makar Dwar. The opposition is adamant on the demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and discussion under the adjournment motion. Earlier, politics has become more heated after Rahul Gandhi was detained during the protest. While the opposition is accusing the government of repressive policies, BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and Dharmendra Pradhan have hit back and accused the Congress of doing politics on the shoulders of students.

Emergency meeting at Shah’s house, hearing on Sonam Wangchuk’s fast today

A big and high-level meeting has been organized at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah amid the continuously tense atmosphere at Jantar Mantar and the discontent spreading across the country. Meanwhile, the fast case of Sonam Wangchuk, who is supporting the movement, is to be heard in the Delhi High Court, while Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh have met her. On behalf of the government, Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Bansuri Swaraj have said that the government is fully ready for discussion under the rules, although there is a warning from the protesters to further intensify the movement.
