A delegation of Citizen Struggle Committee on Wednesday met MLA Vidyasagar Keshari alias Manchan Keshari and held a comprehensive discussion regarding the doubt regarding the proposed ROB construction at railway gate number KJ 65 located at Subhash Chowk in Forbesganj-Jogbani railway section. Under the leadership of committee chairman Shahjahan Shad. Secretary Ramesh Singh, Bachhraj Rakhecha, Vinod Saraogi, Guddu Ali, Rahil Khan were included in the committee's delegation.

The construction of ROB at Subhash Chowk was to be done on fifty fifty percent partnership between Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation and Railways, but due to refusal of participation by the state government, the construction is said to be stuck in limbo, regarding which the delegation met the MLA. .

Giving information in the matter, the MLA said that a DPR costing Rs 94 crore was prepared by the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation and sent to the Railway Administration for approval. Which the Railways said that its design has to be changed keeping in view the future plans and increasing railway services in this area, due to which its cost has increased to about Rs 126 crore.

The state government says that this increase in cost should also be borne by the Railways. In this context, the Bridge Construction Department has written in its letter no. 2158/S dated 8.5.24 sent to the MLA that the construction of ROB at level crossing number 65 For this, a proposal has been sent to the Railway Administration under the MOU, in which the cost has also been discussed. The MLA told the delegation that after the completion of the departmental formalities, its construction work will start soon, and he is very serious about it.
