Araria, March 22 (HS). On Friday, a meeting of Citizen Struggle Committee was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Shahjahan Shad at the residence of social worker Bachraj Rakhecha regarding various problems and demands related to railway in Forbesganj. In which mainly the railway over Issues like bridges and under passes, lack of passenger facilities at the railway station, drinking water, cleanliness, installation of CCTV cameras in the railway premises were discussed.
In the meeting, the members of the Citizen Struggle Committee expressed the need for the construction of an over bridge or under pass on the old KJ 64 as well as the urgent construction of the over bridge on KJ 65. Also, cleanliness on platform number 2 and 3 and providing facilities to the passengers should be done. The issues of restoring the basic facilities provided were discussed. Construction of passenger shed on platform number one and two up to the bridge and installation of CCTV cameras in the entire station premises along with the time table of passenger trains were discussed.
The members discussed the issue of changing the time table of Danapur Jogbani Intercity Express train and increasing the number of passenger trains running between Saharsa and Forbesganj along with the issue of filth in the trains running on Katihar Jogbani railway section.
