New Delhi, June 29 (HS). The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the match officials for the ICC T20 World Cup final between India and South Africa on Friday night.
Christopher Gaffaney and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires for the T20 World Cup 2024 final between South Africa and India.
South Africa reached the final for the first time with a nine-wicket win over Afghanistan in Trinidad and Tobago, and India beat England by 68 runs in the other semi-final in Guyana.
Richard Kettleborough will be the TV umpire and the fourth umpire will be Rodney Tucker, while Richie Richardson will be the match referee. The match will be played at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, which is hosting the final for the second time after the 2010 final.
The match will start on Saturday, June 29 at 8 pm Indian time.
