Chinese woman dies after falling into crater of active volcano in Indonesia

Jakarta, New Delhi: Hundreds of tourists travel every year to see the gray plume of smoke rising from the Ajen volcano in East Java. This brown smoke comes out due to the sulfur, phosphorus and iodine present in the volcano. To see this, 31-year-old Chinese girl Beihong had gone with her 32-year-old husband Zhang Yong. They both went on a 'guided-tour' to see the stunning natural beauty of the area and the gray smoke billowing from the volcano. There the girl wanted to take a photo of the volcano in the background filled with smoke.

Her husband took a photo of her, but as the smoke did not look good, he insisted on taking another photo. She walked herself back to the mouth of the volcano until reaching the mouth where her dress caught her legs, she lost her balance and fell straight into the mouth of the volcano.

While giving this information, the distant guide said that after the accident, the local police reached there and recovered the body of the girl. Another island was taken. The police have registered the incident as natural and accidental.

Meanwhile on social media. Hong's photo is circulating. In which he placed one foot on a stone containing sulphur, phosphorus and iodine. A girl is seen standing with brown smoke in the background.

The girl's body will later be taken from the island to China. There are about 130 active volcanoes in Indonesia. Millions of Indonesians farm in its foothills. Because that land is becoming fertile.
