Chinese ship again hits Philippine ship, accuses: 'You hit our ship' | News India

Taipei: After the Philippines objected to a Chinese ship hitting a Philippine ship at the eastern end of the South China Sea, China has retorted saying that your ship has hit our ship. In such a situation, they are accusing each other face to face. Earlier, Japan also lodged a complaint with the Chinese Embassy that the Chinese survey ship entered the water area of Japan's Kagoshi Prefecture at 6 am on Saturday and remained there till 8 am.

According to information available today, Chinese Coast Guard spokesman Liu De Jun said that at 12:06 pm on Saturday, Philippine Ship No. 9701 collided with Chinese Ship No. 5205. In contrast, a Philippine Coast Guard spokesman said, “While our ship was sailing, the Chinese Coast Guard ship deliberately collided with our ship three times.”

The Philippines said its ship was deliberately rammed three times by China's armed coast guard, an encroachment on the “Savina Shoal” west of the Philippines, over which it has inherent sovereignty.

It is worth noting that China has claimed its sovereignty over the entire South China Sea, against which the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia complained to the Hague-based International Court of Arbitration, but the court rejected China's claim. However, China did not accept it.

Analysts say China can neither jump nor let others jump. The Philippines' friendship with Australia, Japan, Taiwan and the 'protection' given to it by the US hurts China.
