Chinese retailers put it up for sale ahead of the worldwide response. Taobao seller Li Jinwei, 25, puts his T-shirts on his online shelf during breakfast in China. “As soon as we got the news of the shooting, we put the T-shirts on Taobao, even though we hadn't even printed them, and within three hours we saw more than 2,000 orders from both China and the US,” he said.
