China irked by changing names of 27 places in Arunachal: Absurd allegations leveled on birthplace of Dalai Lama

Neighboring country China is not showing any signs of desisting from its activities regarding India’s north-eastern border state Arunachal Pradesh. Angered by India’s correction of the official and cultural names of many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Dragon has once again shown his devious diplomacy. China has not only objected to this internal and sovereignty-related decision of India, but to hide its irritation, has also started making extremely objectionable and absurd allegations regarding the birthplace of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama and his influence. This new move of China is being condemned all round in the corridors of international diplomacy and India has also made it clear as always that Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will always be an integral part of India.

Why is China worried about changing names of places in Arunachal Pradesh?

The entire controversy deepened when the Government of India and the local administration updated and established the names of 27 places in Arunachal Pradesh keeping in mind the historical and cultural importance of different areas of Arunachal Pradesh. India’s move was entirely a part of its own internal geography, local culture and administrative reforms. But China, suffering from expansionist mentality, is not able to digest the fact that how can India take any kind of administrative or cultural decision on its own territory. China has been continuously trying unsuccessfully to assert its claim on this territory, and whenever India strengthens its sovereignty there, the rulers in Beijing lose sleep.

Dragon’s new conspiracy regarding the birthplace of Dalai Lama

Giving a new dimension to this anger, the Chinese Foreign Ministry and government media have now started dragging the birthplace of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama into this controversy. China has made fabricated and baseless allegations regarding the early life and influence of the Dalai Lama, which have nothing to do with reality. Analysts believe that China always feels insecure on the Tibet issue and whenever border tension with India increases, it tries unsuccessfully to put mental pressure on India by using the Dalai Lama card. China has always been afraid of the deep roots of Tibetan culture in Tawang and surrounding areas of Arunachal Pradesh.

India’s clear and blunt stand: Arunachal is ours and will remain so

The Indian government has given a strong message to China by adopting a very strict stance on all these baseless claims and this new move of the dragon. New Delhi has repeatedly made it clear that the imposition of fictitious and imaginary names on Indian states by any other country does not change the real and historical reality of the land. Arunachal Pradesh is a glorious and integral part of India, where the entire responsibility of its development, culture and security rests with the Republic of India. India has also bluntly explained to China on international forums that it should respect India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and desist from such childish actions.

Opinion of global diplomacy and defense experts on this

Big experts in international affairs and defense sector say that this action of China is a symbol of its deep disappointment and diplomatic defeat. Due to the strong vigilance and tough stance of the Indian Army from Eastern Ladakh to Arunachal, the Chinese Army PLA has had to face defeat on every front. Beijing resorts to such empty rhetoric only to divert attention from its strategic defeat on the border and failures on the diplomatic front. Many big countries of the world are now standing in favor of India and openly criticizing China’s expansionist policies, due to which China is becoming completely isolated at the global level.
