China got angry with what Modi said after Taiwan President's congratulatory message

New Delhi: Just a day ago, Narendra Modi was putting everything into his victory and now suddenly his attitude has become contradictory. The reason behind this is that Taiwan's President Lai Ching, in response to his congratulatory message on social media, said to Prime Minister Modi on his handle that Lai Ching, thank you for your warm message, and more close relations are expected.

In a message on the social media platform, the Taiwanese President said, “I congratulate Prime Minister Modi on his election victory. We are keen to accelerate India-Taiwan trade cooperation in technology and other areas. So that we can contribute to peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.” In response, Modi posted on the handle as reported earlier.

China considers Taiwan as its province. Therefore, China cannot sign any country's relationship with Taiwan.

India and many other countries have expressed a One China policy externally. It does not even maintain its own official ambassador or embassy. But representatives for social, educational or religious matters are sent reciprocally. These are mostly people who are experts in educational matters and act as ambassadors. In India, educational offices in Delhi and Mumbai act as embassies, where professors of political science act as ambassadors. China knows this too.
