The airport’s strategic location on the south-west coast of Balochistan, 14 km north of the city, makes it a hub for global trade. Gwadar’s new status as an international gateway will enhance its role in CPEC, making it an important trade hub connecting Central Asia, the Middle East and beyond. One of the largest airports in Pakistan, it will handle domestic and international flights, positioning it as a key element in Pakistan’s broader economic development.
