China defeated America…! Alibaba created an AI system using only Chinese chips

In the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), competition between China and America is becoming tight. At the moment, the game is in China’s hands. Actually, China has created an AI system that uses semiconductor chips manufactured in China. It has been created by Jack Ma’s company Ant Group. Ant Group is a subsidiary of Jack Ma’s company Alibaba. Jack Ma was one of the richest people not only in China but also in Asia. The company claims that the price of this AI model is 20 per cent lower than the normal AI model. After the news of Jack Ma came out, the founder and big businessman of Chinese medical company Me & Q has posted a post on X. In this, he has written that China has defeated America. The reason for this is that there is a demand for chips from American companies worldwide. American company Nvidia is ahead in this. However, now China is rapidly strengthening its hold on AI. This is China’s second major achievement after Chinese AI Chatbot Deepcik.

Which company chips were used?

According to people familiar with the case, the Ant Group was using domestic chips. It also included chips from partners like Alibaba and Huawei Technologies. These chips were used to train a model using a machine learning technique called ‘Mixer of Experts’.

According to sources, its results were similar to chips like NVidia’s H800. Ant is still using Nvidia for AI development. But now it is more dependent on options like AMD and Chinese chips for its new models.
