Beijing, Cairo: The two main Palestinian factions, Hamas and Fatah, have agreed to China's efforts to form an interim government. Giving this information, China's Foreign Ministry said that at the end of the talks held in Beijing between 21 and 23 July with the efforts of China, 14 Palestinian departments have agreed to unite and form a joint government. In which the two main Palestinian factions 'Hamas' and 'Fatah' took the lead. Hamas and Fatah agreed to form a coalition government in Gaza and the West Bank after the war ends.

With Egyptian and other Arab mediators failing, China's efforts to establish cooperation between the two groups have also failed.

Observers believe that other Arab countries, including Egypt, were not willing to provide arms or financial support to either group, while China was likely tempted to provide both types of support. As a result, the two may have agreed to accept Chinese mediation and establish unity and eventually form a joint government.

Hussein Badram, a senior Hamas official, said that the most important thing is that both groups have agreed to jointly administer the territories occupied by the Palestinians. So there will be no regional or international conflicts in our region. Palestinians will be able to govern their territory themselves.

It is noteworthy that even before this, other Arab countries including Egypt had tried to establish unity between the two groups, whereas China's efforts have been successful.

Regarding this agreement, Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that the fact that Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas was ready to embrace Hamas' murderers and rapists instead of considering terrorism unacceptable shows his true nature. But this is not going to happen. Because then Hamas' authority is weakened, and Abbas keeps an eye on Gaza from a distance, but Israel's security remains in Israel's hands.

Regarding this move of China, observers say that by signing this agreement, China now wants to establish its foothold in the Middle East and wants to show that it is the only major power in the Eastern Hemisphere. It wants to strengthen its foothold in the Middle East, but before that it will have to look at the discontent growing in its own country, which has supported Hezbollah, promoted America's arch enemy Iran and made its inroads in West Asia and the Middle East and wants to declare itself the only hegemon of the Eastern Hemisphere. But the question is how long will this Hamas-Fatah agreement last. Also, the question of when Hamas will release its captive foreign citizens is also not resolved yet, while China wants to displace America and go to the Middle East, so it may have lured both the groups with arms and money.
